On July 10, 2024, Mr. Emil Starosielski of Ashmont, Alberta passed away at the age of 100 years. He is survived by his children, Norman (Mary Ellen Cole), Diane (Ellis) McConnell, Andrew (Lynn) & Sabrena (Brian) Saunders; 8 grandchildren, Lindsey, Lisa, Daniel (Melanie) McConnell, Tanya McConnell, Aleeah, Gage, Ava Saunders & Elyse Saunders; 2 great-grandchildren, Grady & Audrey; sister, Gloria Cotton; numerous nieces & nephews. Mr. Starosielski was predeceased by his loving wife, Sheila; son, Emil Jr., parents, John & Anna; siblings, John, Tom, Stella Friel & Mary Labant; nephews, Tom Jr., Lawrence Lilje & Lorne Labant; brothers-in-law, George Cotton, Petro Labant, Pat Friel, Doug Sallstrom & Bob Kell. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Reverend Father Mark Sych will be officiating with interment in Willow Grove Cemetery, Owlseye.
