ST. PAUL – The ACFA Régionale de Saint-Paul hosted its annual Cabane à sucre, or Sugar Shack, just outside the Centre Communautaire on April 6.
Plenty of entertainment were available during the event, including games, wagon rides, as well as musical entertainment inside the ACFA building. The event is a celebration of spring and the Francophone culture and community, said Sylvie Smyl, ACFA St. Paul's regional director.
She thanked all who came out to take part in the celebration.
With the coming of spring, and summer just around the corner, Smyl also invites the community to the ACFA St. Paul's upcoming events, including the Jazz Art festival on May 10. The event will be "highlighting our local artists, artisans, and musicians," she said.
On June 22, in celebration of the ACFA's 100th anniversary in Alberta, a monument will also be unveiled at the Lagasse Park.
