For this year, Main Street, between 101 Street and 100 Street, is intended to be closed for construction on the week of April 22 until approximately Aug. 31, 2025, weather permitting.

BONNYVILLE – The Town of Bonnyville is hosting its annual Canada Day event in July and has announced that they have booked Canadian Country Hall of Famer Charlie Major to help the community celebrate.

On April 16, members of the Next Gen Teen group were at the long term care section of the William J. Cadzow hospital in Lac La Biche socializing with residents and playing games.

The Northeast Alberta Schools Athletic Association (NEASAA) Zone championships took place on April 23, while the Lakeland Schools Athletic Association (LSAA) were held on April 24 in Lac La Biche.

The Easter event was held on the afternoon of April 19 at the Lac La Biche Mission.
